Kuxtah’s baby pouches are hand loomed by artisan’s in Andean villages. They are a confection of soft cotton poplin decorated by traditional Peruvian wool or embroidered cotton. The fine craftsmanship of each pouch has been perfected through generations by mothers from Peru’s Sierra who can keep their arms-free to complete daily tasks while carrying their babies. Crafted to give maximum comfort and to allow discreet nursing, this product also creates sustainable employment for many mothers that have emigrated from the Sierra.
