Crochet Hammocks

Kuxtah’s crochet hammocks are made by local artisans from Mayan communities in Yucatan, Mexico. The hammocks are unique, contemporary and very beautiful. They are hand-woven to the highest standards using one of Yucatan’s traditional production methods: ‘crocheting’. These hammocks have a splendid design to give maximum comfort and softness given their delicate interlace of finely woven cotton threads.

Cotton and Nylon Hammocks

Kuxtah’s cotton and Nylon hammocks are made by artisans that live in remote rural villages in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. The hammocks are hand-woven with strong 100% cotton threads to produce a diamond-like design which gives strength and comfort. This weaving technique, invented by the Maya, has been perfected throughout generations.
